This program is for those who are struggling with primary infertility.

The Holiday Season can be extra challenging for those who are struggling to become parents. This program will increase your capacity to cope with stress, while decreasing your levels of anxiety, panic and depression. It will give you the skills to move forward on your path to parenthood with increased ability to relax and a greater sense of wellbeing and ease.

This introductory series is four weeks long. We will have weekly, one-and-half-hour meetings. Each week will be formally guided and structured, participatory, and experiential.

Participants will learn practical ways to cultivate equanimity and compassionate presence with the body, as well as challenging thoughts and emotional states through:

  • mindfulness meditation practices

  • mindful fertility movements (fertility yoga and Qi Gong meridian exercises)

  • facilitated discussion and sharing

  • understanding of the stress response and neuroplasticity.

For optimal benefit, this course requires participants to follow a weekly assigned home practice for about 15-30 minutes a day.

Bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion or bench if you have one, and please come dressed in comfortable loose clothing.
